There are moments in wildlife photography you simply cannot recreate.
Thousands of wildebeest moving across an African plain.
A lion watching silently from the grass.
A cheetah suddenly exploding into a sprint.
An elephant emerging through the dust beneath Mount Kilimanjaro.
And somewhere ahead, one of the greatest wildlife spectacles on Earth is unfolding.
The Great Migration.
Our 15-day photographic adventure takes us far beyond a traditional safari, traveling through dramatically different regions of Kenya in search of wildlife, action and extraordinary light.
We'll photograph the legendary elephants and Great Tuskers of Amboseli, experience the vast herds and predators of the Maasai Mara, take to the waters of the Great Rift Valley in search of African Fish Eagles and hippos, enter the world of black and white rhinos, and finish in the rugged wilderness of northern Kenya.
And just when you think you've seen everything, the animals change again.
Grevy's zebras. Reticulated giraffes. Gerenuk. Beisa oryx. Lions. Leopards. Cheetahs. Elephants. Rhinos. Crocodiles. Hippos. Eagles—and wildlife we haven't even mentioned.
This isn't about racing from animal to animal.
We're photographers.
We wait.
We watch behavior. We study the light. We anticipate what might happen next.
And when Africa gives us one of those extraordinary, completely unscripted moments...
we're ready.
You don't need to be an expert photographer to join us. Photography instruction and guidance are part of the adventure, whether you're still learning your camera or have been photographing wildlife for years.
And we're intentionally leaving a few things out.
The complete itinerary—and some of our favorite photographic opportunities—are reserved for the photographers traveling with us.
Small group. Limited availability.
Reserve your place and join us in Kenya for the Great Migration.
PAYMENTS: We accept checks, Zelle & ACH for remaining balance. Note: Credit Cards are subject to a surcharge.
The group size is limited to 9 to 12 participants to ensure a high level of personal interaction, planning, and guidance with your photographic leaders.
Registrations are accepted on a first-come, first-serve basis. Your space in the tour is not confirmed until your $1,000.00 deposit has been received.
Half of the remaining balance is due 180 days before the start of your tour.
The remaining balance is due 90 days before the start of the tour. Need special payment arrangements? No problem, contact us.
These payments for this tour are non-refundable under any circumstances, as noted in our Payment Terms for International Photography Tours and our other standard Terms and Conditions, which is why we recommend that you get trip cancellation insurance. Our tours occur in international locations that require international travel and lodging arrangements, substantial planning, insurance, deposits, and permits. If you wish to protect your investment in the tour and travel costs, you may want to investigate travel insurance with a carrier such as Travelex, American Express Travel, Allianz.
